Ah, jolly old 2008. We had a good Christmas and New Year - quite busy but fun, and all of a sudden it seems to be February. Both madly working hard towards Lent and Easter and all that it brings and enjoying Alice's grasp of new words every day...

Back to work after a good couple of weeks holiday - first week in Northumberland/Scotland for the wedding of Aidan's brother - great fun, and the second week in North Norfolk doing some sailing and generally sleeping!

At last the Stag is MOT'd. Two weeks ago we finally booked the Stag in for MOT assuming it would probably fail, but it didn't, and so we drove back to Gloucester in convoy- rather slowly, dodging the showers - Aidan was driving it with the top down, due to a lack of back window. This picture was taken last night after we had attached the hub caps and given it a bit of a clean.

Very chuffed.

A few months on from my last post we are happily settled in Gloucester, where Aidan is Chaplain to the Bishop. I have got a part time position as Development Manager for the Cathedral and Alice goes to nursery when I am working, so everything has worked out really well. The rest of the time is spent going to swimming, play groups and book clubs. I am doing some singing with an excellent group called the Glevum Consort and have done a bit of 'cello playing. The stag is finally booked in for an MOT this Saturday and we have a garage arranged for storage - watch this space!
